Hana Dlouhá
Ms. Hana Dlouhá is mechanical engineer working in nuclear field for almost 19 years. She started her career as NDT technician at Škoda Nuclear Machinery as a member of team responsible for NDT inspection of main NPP components (RPV, primary piping) where she was in charge of ultrasonic and visual testing. Her current position is Head of Mechanical Components and Material Issues Assessment Division at State Office for Nuclear Safety of the Czech Republic. She is responsible for a whole range of assessment activities related to main primary components as well as for regulatory inspection activities dedicated to those components. Another important activity she is responsible for is related to ageing management and long-term operation. She contributed to the development of regulatory binding requirements regarding the ageing management and the long-term operation and developed SÚJB methodology documents for review of licensee activities in this topic. She was responsible for activities during the First European topical review on ageing management, including the development of Czech National Safety Assessment Report and leading the Czech delegation. Currently she cooperates with IAEA in the area of ageing management as a member of working group 4 of IAEA IGALL programme.
