Atte Moilanen M.Sc. has a master’s degree in engineering physics and has some 16 years of experience in operating nuclear power plants and new build projects. In 2008, he joined Teollisuuden Voima as a reactor physicist, and worked mainly in OL3 and OL4 new build projects in reactor physics, reactor safety and I&C (development of methodology and safety analysis of OL3 I&C architecture). In 2017, he switched to Fortum for the position of a project manager in Fortum Nuclear Services but kept supporting TVO until the end of core commissioning in 2022. In parallel, he has studied systems engineering and project management which he has utilized when leading the Fortum team of experts in several external customer projects including i.a. PSAR development, LTO strategy development, Owner’s Engineering support and EUR assessment projects. Moreover, he is managing the portfolio of projects Fortum Nuclear Services is delivering to another nuclear operator in the Nordics.
